Theresa and I and her family went to Armed Forces Day and Airshow at Canadian Forces Base Comox this past Sunday. The planes were awesome. The Demos were spectacular, especially the F-18, F-16 and Snowbirds… and the airplane displays were really cool. There was everything from ultra-lights to float planes to a Spitfire cockpit, to a B52 Stratofortress.
We got to go inside a Cormorant Rescue Helicopter (the big Yellow one you’ll see below). And saw the cockpit of the B52 as well as it’s bomb bays and wheel wells and stuff. It was hot on the tarmac!
